What does it cost to join?
Nothing. No setup fee, no monthly fee, no commission on merchant orders. Toleds exists to protect local businesses from losing profit just to offer delivery.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No contract. A business can pause, disable, or delist at any time. Founding partner perks require a 12-month non-exclusive participation, operating on other platforms at the same time is fine.
How does payout work?
For MVP delivery orders, the rider pays the merchant at pickup, then the customer pays the rider on delivery. Toleds does not hold merchant money or deduct commission from the merchant.
What about walk-in customers?
Toleds only handles delivery orders placed through the app. Walk-ins, dine-in, and direct phone orders stay entirely with the business, nothing changes for those.
Is a smartphone required?
Yes. Any Android or iOS phone from the last few years works. The merchant app runs on the same phone the owner already uses day to day.
Who delivers the orders?
Verified Toledo-based riders through our dispatch system. A merchant may also allow delivery by their own in-house rider if they prefer.
Where does the team operate?
Toledo City. The team is local, onboarding, support, and verification all happen in person or through direct messages.
What is the catch?
No catch. Toleds does not take a commission from merchants. The business gets a dashboard, local onboarding, and a direct line to the team.
