Built in Toledo, for Toledo

Toledo City has around 200,000 residents: families, sari-sari store owners, restaurant operators, delivery riders, students, barangay workers. But almost everything that runs the city day to day — finding an open shop, ordering food, sending a rider, paying a bill, knowing what is happening — still lives scattered across Facebook Pages, community groups, and Messenger threads, where it is easy to miss and impossible to keep track of.

Toleds started with one question: what if Toledo had its own app? Not a copy of Manila's delivery giants with their commissions and corporate playbooks, but a super app built for one city, run from inside it, and answerable to the people who use it every day. One place to do the things Toledo already does, finally built for Toledo.

We led with delivery because that is where the pain is sharpest. Riders deserve real tools instead of screenshots and chat threads. Restaurants and sari-sari stores deserve to be found, not buried in a feed or charged a 25% cut. Customers deserve a clean ordering flow instead of hopping between Facebook Pages and guessing who is still open. So many of Toledo's best little shops are invisible online — we put them on the map, in search, and in front of customers who never knew they existed, and the orders follow. That part is live today.

But delivery was only ever the front door. The same app already runs errands, vouchers, raffles, and a full merchant suite — with bills and load, loyalty cards, local jobs, and emergency hotlines on the way. Piece by piece, the everyday systems of the city move into one place the whole of Toledo can actually use. That is the real project: not another delivery app, but Toledo's own digital town square.
