Built in Toledo, for Toledo

Toledo City has around 207,000 residents: families, sari-sari store owners, restaurant operators, delivery riders, students, barangay workers. But almost everything that runs the city day to day, finding an open merchant, ordering food, sending a rider, paying a bill, knowing what is happening, still lives scattered across Facebook Pages, community groups and Messenger threads, where it is easy to miss and impossible to keep track of.

Toleds started with one question: what if Toledo had its own app? Manila's delivery giants come with commissions and corporate playbooks. Toleds is a super app built for one city, run from inside it, and answerable to the people who use it every day. One place to do the things Toledo already does, finally built for Toledo.

We led with delivery because that is where the pain is sharpest. Riders deserve real tools, and they had screenshots and chat threads. Restaurants, cafes and bakeries deserve to be found, and they were buried in a feed or charged a 25% cut. Customers deserve a clean ordering flow, and they were hopping between Facebook Pages guessing who was still open. So many of Toledo's best little merchants are invisible online. We put them on the map, in search, and in front of customers who never knew they existed, and the orders follow. That part is live today.

Delivery was only ever the front door. The same app already runs vouchers, raffles and a full merchant suite, with bills and load, loyalty cards, local jobs and emergency hotlines on the way. Piece by piece, the everyday systems of the city move into one place the whole of Toledo can actually use. That is the real project: Toledo's own digital town square.
